Yes, you specify on the order form which month you want your calendar to begin. You don't have to start your calendar on a January. |
| Can I have more than one photo per page?
We're happy to scan collages that you make. Just tape multiple photographs to an 8.5x11" sheet of paper using double-sided tape. |
| Other than the photos, how else are the calendars personalized?
We mark the dates of your special events, like birthdays and anniversaries. They will appear on the calendar the way the other holidays are listed. You can also supply a caption for each month’s photo, and a title and dedication on the front and back covers. |
| How big are the calendars?
When unfolded, the calendars are approximately 11" x 17". |
| What kind of paper do you use?
We use a thick, glossy photo paper. The calendars are bound with a plastic comb binding. |
| Can I send digital photos on disk or CD? Can I email my photos to you?
Yes, we’re happy to accept your photos in this way at no additional cost.
For best results, make sure you've captured the images at the highest resolution available to you with at least a 16-bit color depth. Save the images as JPG's or PNG's, and select the least amount of compression for the best image quality. Don't be surprised if your file sizes are very large -- possibly several megabytes -- using these settings.
When choosing a file name, use the name of the month that you want that image to appear. Write the files to a PC CD-ROM (no DVD's please) and mail that to us instead of the photos. Be sure to package the CD in a protective mailer so that it isn't damaged in transit. The CD will be returned to you along with the finished calendars.
You may also email your images to us if you would rather not send a CD. After giving the proper month names to the files, attach all 12 of them to a single email message and send it to bpchen@yahoo.com. You may find it convenient to pack them into a single WinZIP archive first. In the message body, include your name, address, and phone number, so that we can associate your order form with the received pictures. After emailing the photos, you can send us the order form by ground mail, or you can fax it to us at (616) 296-0863. |
| When will I receive my calendar?
Your finished calendar will arrive in your mail box within 2 weeks after we receive your order. |
